The Ups of Downs, Tri-State Down Syndrome Support Group is a volunteer, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2009. It is a group of families, friends and professionals working together to help raise awareness and inclusion of children and adults with Down Syndrome.

Registrations received prior to Saturday, August 27, 2011 will be guaranteed T-shirts. The remaining T-shirts will be distributed on a first-come basis. Registrations will be accepted on the day of the walk.

WAIVER (Must be checked to participate): In consideration of me and/or my minor child being permitted to participate in tne Down Syndrome Awareness Walk, I hereby–for myself, my heirs and personal representatives–assume all risks which might be associated with the event. I further waive, release, discharge and covenant not to sue The Ups of Downs, Tri-State Down Syndrome Support Group, its officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, volunteers or other representatives or their successors and assigns, for any and all injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by myself and/ or my minor child as a result of taking part in the event and any related activities. I also authorize the use by The Ups of Downs, Tri-State Down Syndrome Support Group of any photo, film or video tape taken of me or my minor child at the event for any purpose.
